Elsie Gail Siegfried, 89, of Cambridge, died Saturday (Feb. 10, 2007) at
Southeastern Med.

She was born Feb. 19, 1917, in Zanesville, daughter of the late William Brock
and Minnie (Geyer) Brock.

Mrs. Siegfried retired in 1985, following 30 years as a cook for Cambridge City
Schools.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.  She was a graduate of Brown
high School, enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting and word search puzzles.

She loved spending time with her children.

She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Goldie Brock; and a brother-in-law
Herb Oakley.

She leaves her husband, Charles Barr Siegfried of Cambridge, whom she married
Sept. 5, 1926; a son, Charles Dallas "Corky" (Carolyn) Siegfried of Cambridge;
two brothers, William (Jean) Brock of Circleville and Ralph Brock of Cambridge;
a sister, Jenetta Oakley of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Cathy Cale, Elisa
Waite, Rochelle Vincent, Kurtis Siegfried and Kristopher Siegfried; 14
great-grandchildren; an expected great-greatgrandchild; and several nieces and
nephews.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Monday) at Thorn-Black Funeral Home,
Cambridge, where services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Mick Foster
officiating.

Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
