James Willson’s Will In the name of the benevolent Father all, I James Willson of Washington Township, Guernsey County Ohio do make and publish this my last will and Testament. Item 1st. I give and bequeath to my niece Rachel Willson daughter of Jesse Willson the one half the farm I own situate in the Township of Washington aforesaid and known as the North West Quarter of Section Eleven township four and Range one to her and her heirs and assigns forever. Item 2d. I give and bequeath to my two nephews William I. Willson and Bezaleel willson son of the said Jesse Willson, the remainder of the above described farm or tract of land to them and their heirs and assigns forever to be equally divided between them share and share alike. Item 3d. I give and bequeath to Margaret T. Willson daughter of Jesse Willson Junior the sum of one hundred dollars. Item 4th. I give to William I. Willson my nephew above named my silver watch and N---- history. Item 5th. I give to James Willson son of Jesse Willson Junior my saddle and bridle. Item 6th. I give to my nephew Bezaleel Wilson above named my rifle gun and the remainder of my books. Item 7th. I give to my niece Rachel Willson above named my mantle clock and small Bureau. Item 8th. I give and bequeath to my nephews the sons of the above named Jesse Willson Sr., viz: John R. Willson, James Willson and Jesse Wilson William I. Wilson and Bezaleel Wilson and to – my nieces daughters of said Jesse Willson Sr. viz: Hannah Malone wife of Barnabas Malone Elizabeth C. Edwards wife of Lewis Edwards and the rest residue of my estate to be equally divided between them share and share alike. Item 9th. I do hereby appoint my nephew Willam I. Willson above named executor of this my last will and Testament, and I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made and ratify and confirm this and no other to be my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of December in the year 1843.
