Henry Wilson’s Will In the name of the Benevolent Father of all I Henry Wilson of Guernsey County in the State of Ohio being of advanced age and declining health yet of sound and disposing mind and memory and wishing to provide for final distribution of my worldly effects after my death do make and publish this my last will and testament as follows. Item 1st I give and devise to my beloved wife Cynthia (should she survive me) all the real estate which I now own situate in Wheeling township Guernsey County Ohio and on which I now reside containing about two hundred acres together with all the personal property of which I may die seized during her natural life except so much thereof as may be necessary to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses Item 2nd After the decease of myself and wife aforesaid I give and devise to my son Alexander Wilson all the real estate which I now own as described in Item first together with all my personal effects both property and money after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses of myself and wife and of the payment by my executors of the following legacies viz: to my son George Wilson fifty dollars to my son Henry Wilson fifty dollars to my son Preston Wilson five dollars to my son Samuel Wilson five dollars to my daughter Harriet Sheetz five dollars and to my daughter Sarah Baker five dollars my six last named children having been heretofore otherwise provided for having received from my various sums of money at different times which was advanced by me to them as their share of my estate. Item 3d I hereby appoint my two sons Preston Wilson and Alexander Wilson Executors of this my last will and testament authorizing them to collect by suit or otherwise all debts due me and to pay and adjust all just debts due from me and if it should become necessary in order to the support of myself and wife and the payment of my just debts and the legacies before mentioned they are hereby authorized to sell of my real estate and deeds to purchasing execute in fee simple selling first however the forty acres known as the Sheetz lot being N.E. ¼ of N.E. ¼ of Sec 12 of township four and range four signed by said Henry Wilson and acknowledged as his last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills in our presence and signed by us in his presence and at his request this 15 day of April A.D. 1875 Henry (my X mark) Wilson John Keets G.W.
