James Wilson’s Will
In the name of the Benevolent Father of All.  I James Wilson of Cumberland 
Guernsey County Ohio being of Sound mind and thanking God therefor do make and 
publish this my last Will and testament.
Item 1st.  It is my will that all my just debts be paid.
Item 2nd  It is my will and I hereby give and devise to my beloved wife after 
the payment of the debts aforementioned all my property personal real and 
mixed to be hers forever.
Item 3rd  I do hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife Matilda Wilson 
Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby authorizing and empowering 
her to compromise adjust release and discharge in such manner as she may deem 
proper the debts and claims due me.  I devise that the Court of Probate in 
pursuance of the Statute direct the omission of the appraisement and sale of 
my personal property and that there be no letters testamentary issued upon the 
Probating of this will, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.  In 
testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Seventh day of 
March A.D. 1872.

our presence and signed by us in his presence.
