That all my just debts including my funeral expenses be paid and if the money and credits left by me are not sufficient to do this, such live stock or other articles as can be best spared be disposed of to make up the deficiency. 2nd. It is my will that the forty five acres of land situated on the west side of the road leading from Smyrna to Sewillsville, together with the live stock, wagon, carriage and farming implements, household & kitchen furniture be left for the use and benefit of my beloved wife Eliza Wilson during her natural life. 3rd. It is my will that my heirss at a suitable time after my decease, be at liberty to sell that part of my farm lying east of the road above described either at public or private sale as may seem best and appropriate the proceeds in the following manner. 1st. That 8 hundred dollars be properly secured, the interest of which is to be annually applied for the use and benefit of my beloved wife in addition to what is above specified and the balance arising from the sale of said land, to be equally divided amongst my five children, with this exception, that my daughter Deborah W. Hall receive one hundred & fifty dollars less than each of the other four, she having received about that amount at the time of her marriage. 4th. It is my will that my beloved wife Eliza Wilson and my son Benjamin Wilson be appointed my executors. 5th. It is my will that no inventory or appraisement of my property be required of my executors. 6th. And lastly It is my will that after the decease of myself and wife, that all my estate real and personal be sold and the proceeds divided equally amongst my five children namely, Martha, Ann Wilson, Deborah W. Hall, Maria Wilson, Benjamin Wilson & Miriam Wilson, share & share alike. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 19th day of Mc 1870. Joseph Wilson Attest J.R. Hibbs Jason Doudna.
