Joshua Wilson Will Last Will and testament of Joshua Wilson of Westland township Guernsey county Ohio. In the name of the Benevolent Father of all I Joshua Wilson being of sound mind and memory realizing the uncertainty of a continuance of life and desiring to dispose of my estate as I deem best do make publish an declare this my last Will and testament . 1st I desire my Just debts and funeral expenses to be paid as soon after my decease as possible. 2nd I bequeath to my beloved wife Rachel Wilson all my estate real and personal after my just debts are paid except thirty six acres a part of the Hodge farm to have and to hold until my youngest child becomes of age thereafter I desire that she my said wife will have and hold one third of said estate during her natural life or as long as she remains my widow and at her death the remainder to be sold and divided equally among all my children. Item 3rd. I desire and empower my executor herein after appointed to take charge of all my personal property and keep the same in the farm and sell the thirty six acres aforesaid or as much of the same as may be necessary to pay all claims against my estate. Item 4th I desire the Probate Court to omit the usual forms of appointing of appraisers to take an inventory of my estate as I desire my executor to sell privately or publicly said lands specified in item 3 make and execute deeds and all and sundry the same as I would if I were living Item 5. I direct my executor to pay to my four oldest children James, Lincoln, Elizabeth and Charles Wilson equally the amount of the estate of their mother my first wife as soon as they are all of age. Item 6th.
