Albert Frederick Gieringer. Among those who are notable figures in the business life of Miami township, Hamilton county, Ohio, is numbered Albert Frederick Gieringer, the well-known merchant of Cleves. He was born in Miami, Ohio, December 26, 1883, a son of Joseph Gieringer, whose biography appears upon other pages of these volumes. Albert F. Gieringer was educated in the public schools of Miami, and after completing his studies, he engaged in the mercantile business with his father. At the present time he is acting as a member of the board of directors of the Joseph Gieringer & Sons Company. Politically, Mr. Gieringer takes a deep interest in the affairs of the state and nation, he never cared for the honors of office. Fraternally, he is a valued member of the Knights of Pythias lodge In religious affiliations, Mr. Gieringer and his family are consistent members of the Christian church, and all take an interest in its activities. On August 15, 1905, Mr. Gieringer was united in marriage with Miss Cora Marde Pickens a daughter of Amos and Elizabeth (Earnhardt) Pickens, of Miami, Ohio. To this union have been born three children, as follows : Earl Amos, Lillian Elizabeth and Beuhla Rachel, all of whom reside at home. In conclusion, it may be added that Mr. Gieringer has always been interested in whatever has pertained to the general progress, and he is well-known in the county as a man of integrity and worth, well deserving of representation in this volume.
