Louis S. Levi of Atlantic City, beloved husband of Pauline Levi and father of Maria
and Martin and Sol. Levi 
and Mrs. Horace Wolf of Rochester, N.Y., due notice of Funeral.

Louis S. Levi, 66 years old, retired Cincinnati Banker, died suddenly at Atlantic
City, N.J. yesterday.  He was 
stricken with paralysis two years ago and went to Atlantic City last September to
recuperate.

Mr. Levi was a member of the New Hospital Commission, which supervised the building
of the Cincinnati 
General Hospital, serving with Harry L. Laws, Charles Boldt and Dr. Christian R.
Holmes, who died in New 
York yesterday morning.

Mr. Levi was interested in charities and philanthropic work.  He was one of the
organizers of the Anti-
Tuberculosis League and became its president.  He was also formerly President of the
United Jewish 
Charities and of the Cleveland Orphan Asylum, Cleveland, Ohio.

His chief business activity was that of Director of the Lincoln National Bank.  For
a short time he was in the 
distilling business.  He retired from business when only 35 years old and devoted
virtually all his time to 
charitable work.

His widow, two sons, Sol Levi, Cincinnati, and Captain Martin Lane Levi, now in
Turkey, and two daughters, 
Mrs. Horace Wolf, Rochester, N.Y., and Miss MarionLevi, New York, survive.  The body
will be brought to 
Cincinnati for burial.
