Miller, said to be the youngest Iowan to serve in the Civil war, died at his residence here today. Miller was nationally known in activities of the Grand Army of the Republic, was formerly county auditor at San Diego and police judge here. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1849 and his family moved to Iowa shortly thereafter.
