Plaut, wife of Nathan Plaut, suddenly, at Frankfurt, Germany, October 14. _________ Cincinnati Enquirer, 16 Oct 1915, Pg. 7, Col. 2 Mrs. Emma L. Plaut, wife of Nathan Plaut, Cincinnati Shoe Manufacturer, died in Frankfurt, Germany, yesterday, according to a cablegram received last night by her son, Jacob, of 656 Forest Avenue, Avondale. No details were mentioned in the dispatch. Mr. and Mrs. Plaut had been visiting relatives in Frankfurt for several months. They left America early in Spring, and as they were in a safe place when the European War started, they decided not to hazard an attempt to return to this country while trans-Atlantic travel was difficult. Mrs. Plaut was in good health when she left her home in Avondale, and reports of her death came as a distinct shock to numerous relatives here. Aside from the son, two married daughters survive. Nathan Plaut is connected with several of Cincinnati’s largest show manufacturing and distributing concerns, and is one of the best-known men of the industry in the United States. ____________ File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/oh/hamilton/obits/p/plaut1361gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ohfiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
