George W. Keene is the great great grandfather of the submitter.  He was born 
George Kuhn in Winnweiler, Germany and emigrated ca 1838, according to the 
records of he Deutsche Pionier Verein, of which he was a member. He was married 
to Magdalena Stein in 1842 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a supervisor for the 
Cincinnati Water Works.
