They were married at Three Mile Bay, N.Y. on Nov. 28, 1855. They came to Findlay in the early seventies and lived there ever since. David Joy was born in New York State. He is 81. Mr. Joy, with James B. Steedman of Toledo, represented this district in the Ohio senate in 1877. Mrs. Joy's maiden name was Knickerbocker. She is a member of the Episcopal church. Every Sunday she and Mr. Joy walk to the morning service. They are in good health and confident they will celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary. The Joys look on the bright side of life and are happiest when they see others happy.
