Democrat and sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1853-1866: May16, 1855
At the mouth of the Ohio river, on the 5th inst., of Cholera, John Adams, of
Findlay, Hancock county, Ohio, in the 56th year of his age. The deceased was
connected by the ties of relationship with one of the proprietors of this paper. He
held several offices of distinction, the duties of which he performed faithfully and
well. He leaves behind him a large family, and an unsullied reputation.
