Drake, 78, retired farmer, died at 6:20 p.m. yesterday in his home at Mt. Blanchard. He had been ill the past year. "Born Aug. 15, 1869 in Wyandot county, a son of Silas and Mary (Quackenbush) Drake, he lived in Hancock county nearly all his life. He married Ream[sic] Brown, who preceded him in death, and later married Pearl Dick. His second wife is also deceased. "Mr. Drake is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Elva Bricker[sic], Ashland; four sons, Milton Harris, route 5; Alonzo, route 1, Mt. Blanchard; Marion, Toledo; and Louis, Findlay; two brothers, Oliver and Charles, Findlay; 35 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Six children and four brothers and sisters are deceased. "The body was taken to the Coldren funeral home, where it will remain for funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. N.
