Rosson, 55, 1801 Imperial Lane, died at 8:10am Sunday, October 20, 1974 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born April 11 1919, in Thomasville, Robinson Co, Tenn. to Alva W. and Mattie (Cherry) Rosson, and his mother Mrs. Mattie Rice, Dayton survives. He married Betty Holland Sept 31, 1940, and they were divorced. On July 27, 1959, he married Eileen M. Burwinkel, and she survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Rilley, Mrs. Peter (Lynn) White, both of Centerville; Nancy Ruth, at home; a son James Michael, at home; four grandchildren; a sister Mrs William G. (Wilmuth) Kelly, Dayton. A member of Central Church of Christ, he also belonged to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post no. 5645, BPOE No. 75 and Canterbury Swimming Pool. He was a foreman at RCA. Funeral Services will be at 1:30pm Tuesday at Kirkpatrick-Hawkins Funeral Home, the Rev. James Foster officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, with services there by Veterans of Foreign Wars. Visitations at the funeral home will be from 3-5 and 7-9pm today.
