MILTON LEE, farmer, P. O. Kenton, was born January 14, 1856, in Marion County,
this State. His father, William Lee, was one of a family of seven, four boys and
three girls and was of Irish descent. The mother of our subject, Emily Lee,
fourth of a family of five, two boys and three girls, one deceased, was the
daughter of Robert and Martha (Friend) Clendenin, who were natives of Virginia,
emigrated to Kentucky, thence came to Pickaway County, Ohio, where they spent
the remainder of their live. In November, 1877, our subject was united in
marriage with Margaret, born July 9, 1856, in Buck Township, this county, and a
daughter of Hosea Johnson, of German descent. By this union there have been
three children born. Mr. Lee has followed farming for his occupation, and is a
useful citizen of Dudley Township.
