O. Kenton, was born June 1, 1850, in this county, Ohio. His parents were George and Mary Pfeiffer. Our subject was married, February 28, 1878, to Laura Coats, who was born in this county in 1858, the daughter of J. R. and Rebecca Jane Coats. To this union there have been born three children, viz., Ulrich J., born October 7, 1878; Fred E., born December 21, 1879, and Michael G., born February 28, 1881. Mr. Pfeiffer is a farmer by occupation, and owns 223 acres of land in Goshen Township. 1n 1878, Mr. Pfeiffer served in the capacity of Township Assessor, and for three terms was a Township Trustee. His residence is six miles east of Kenton, on the Miller pike.
