All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/oh/ohfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Rita Guzzo rita.guzzo_47@verizon.net January 17, 2011, 2:44 pm SE quarter of Section 52 Township Five South of Range Nine East Written: June 13, 1837 Recorded: July 1, 1837 This Indenture Made and entered into this thirteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand and thirty seven [sic] Between Andrew Zimmerman senr. and Ruth his wife of the County of Hardin and State of Ohio, of the first Part, and Andrew Zimmerman Jr. of the County and State aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth that the Said Party of the First Part for and in consideration of the sum of fifty five dollars to them in hand Paid the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, Sold, released conveyed and confirmed and by these Presents do grant, bargain, sell release convey and confirm unto the said Party of the Second Part, his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or Parcel of Land Situate Lying and being in the County of Hardin and State of Ohio on the waters of Scioto River and bounded and described as follows Towit, Beginning at a Stake Corner to Andrew Poes Survey So 4 degrees W 11 Links from an Elm 4 inches in Diameter thence with Carters Line S 86 1/2 degrees W 80 Poles to a Stake S 32 E 13 Links from a whiteoak 4 feet Diameter thence S 4 degrees E 30 Poles to a Stake S 86 1/2 degrees E 80 Poles crossing the State Road to a stake on Said Poes Line thence With said Line S 4 degrees W 30 Poles to the beginning containing fifteen acres Being a Part of the SE quarter of Section 32 Township five South of Range nine East To Have And To Hold the said Tract or Parcel of Land with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said party of the Second Part, his heirs and assigns forever and the said party of the fist Part, for themselves their Heirs Executors & administrators will well and truly warrant and forever Defend the Premises herin & hereby granted unto the Said Party of the Second Part, against the Lawful Claims or demands of all Persons Whomesoever. In testimony Whereof they the Said Andrew Zimmerman Snr. And Ruth his wife Have hereunto Set Their hands and affixed their Seals the day and year just above Written. Anderson and Patrick Conner Additional Comments: The State of Ohio Hardin County, ss: Personally appeared before me R. S. Anderson a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid Andrew Zimmerman and Ruth his wife and Signed & sealed the within Deed and Acknowledged the Signing and Sealin to be their act(?) and deed for the Purposes therein Expressed & Ruth his wfife being by me Examined Separate and Apart form her Said Husband and the Deed being Red and Explained unto her Declared that She did Sign and Seal the Same and that She is Still Satisfied therewith this first Day of July 1837.
