Ada Herald, Ada, OH - 27 Sep 1882
t New Stark, OH, Sept 18th, 1882, Martha Frances Blosser, aged 20 years, 9 
months and 11 days.  The going out of this young and lovely life once again 
reminds us of the shortness of time and of the necessity of being always ready 
to answer the summons from time to eternity.  Surely in the midst of life we 
are in death.  Mrs Blosser always lived at New Stark, being absent only in the 
years of '79 and '80 while attending school at the Ada Normal.  The death of 
her mother when she was but five years old seemed to strengthen the ties of 
affection between herself and father, endeared her to her grandparents with 
whom for four or five years following her mother's death she made her home, 
and bound her to her brother with more than a sister's ordinary love.  She was 
united in marriage to Noah Blosser, June 21st, 1881, and so soon is a happy 
wedded life broken up the the dissolution of her body and spirit; a devoted 
husband is bereft of a loving and faithful wife; a little infant, five months 
old, even before it knows a mother's love is left to its father's care; near 
and dear once everywhere mourn the loss of one who was to them so much.  She 
was a faithful member of the Presbyterian church. Here was a true Christian 
character, adorned with all the graces of womanhood which thus early made her 
meet for the rest prepared for Christ's ransomed.  Funeral services were 
conducted by Revs Brenamen and Z B Campbell from the Mennonite church.  As a 
last token of love and respect a very large concourse of friends followed her 
remains to their last resting place.
