Last will and testament ...I, Thomas Anderson of Short Creek Township,
Harrison co, of the State of Ohio being of sound mind and good  memory but
of ...... considering the uncertainty of life do make and publish the
following as my last will and testament, to wit.  First I desire my funeral
expenses and all my other just debts to be paid out of my estate.  Secondly
I do hereby give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Nancy Anderson all my
property both real and personal of whatsoever kind I possess, the debts and
expenses deducted there from.  And lastly I do hereby appoint my son Samuel
Anderson to be my executor.  In testimony where of I have set my hand and
seal this eight day of February in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight
hundred and forty four.
The above will was signed and sealed in the presence of us.  James F.
