Thompson Journals Written: January 8, 1831 . Will Book A Page 257 Will of Samuel Carrothers Senr, states he is of Harrison Co, O & directs: 1. All debt to be paid 2. Gives to beloved wife Debora Corrithers in lieu of dower for life, the plantation on which we now reside viz See No 517 T12 N.E. quarter ctg 160 A & all the livestock & at her death s'd tract to be divided equally between my four sons, James, Samuel, John & Jesse Corrothers. Said four sons to pay the rest of the "airs" viz: Margret Perkins $5 William Carrothers $5 Elizabeth Oliver $5 Mary Thompson $5 Deabora Corrothers $50, in one year after the place comes in their hands.
