Thompson Journals Written: September 21, 1839 Will Book B Page 1 Will of Samuel Dunlap of Harrison Co O 1st directs debts & funeral exps to be pd by my son Adam 2d gives to wife Sarah my mansion house etc for life & numerous other articles incl horse, cows & sheep for maintenance of herself & my two daughters Rachel & Elizabeth so long as they remain single & live with her. 3d I give my daughter Susan $175 in addition to what I have heretofore give her. 4th I give my son Adam my homestead farm being SE 1/4 & each 1/2 of SW 1/4 of sec 20 Tp 10 Range 5 in the Steubenville land dist ctg 240 A provided he pays all my debts & legacies to wife & seven daughters. 5th gives to daughter Rebecca $5 along with previous gifts 6th gives to daughter Polly $5 along with previous gifts 7th gives to daughter Sarah $505, along with previous gifts 8th gives to daughter Jane, the 40 A tract of land on which she now lives provided she pays Adam $424. 9th gives to daughter Rachel $505 etc 10th gives to daughter Elizabeth $505 11th Appoints son Adam Exr & son in law Edward Clifford exr.
