I William Maris Son of Joseph and Ann Maris was Born November the 15th A.D. 
1801—

	Sarah Prince Daughter of William and Rebecca Prince was Born August 
the 2nd A.D. 1806. ---

	William Maris and Sarah Prince was married July the 7th A.D. 1824

	Joseph Maris was Born June the 22nd 1825

	Angeline Maris was Born May the 14th A.D. 1827

	Alexander Maris was Born October the 7th 1829.

	William Maris was Born March the 7th A D 1832

	James Newton Maris was Born August 8th 1834

	Lewander Maris was Born August 9th 1836

	Rebecca Maris was Born Aprial the 3th A.D. 1839.

[Reverse of Page: Top of this side is a ledger list related to shoe making and 
repair; at the very bottom of the page are two more birth records]

	Sarah Ann Maris was Born June the 22th A D 1841 [this is the only 
entry written in blue/different ink]

	Emme Maris Was Born June the 12th A D 1844


A second copy of this record has two additional children:

        David Maris Was Born December the 25th A.D. 1847

        Elizabeth Maris Was Born october the 08th A D. 1850 


Additional Comments:
These pages were found in the belongings of Sarah Ann (Maris) (Sheward) 
(Hartman) (1841-1902). This family lived in Henry County from at least 1860, 
but son David Maris' Civil War discharge paper says he was born in Wood Co., 
OH.
