[abstract of original obituary]

Alice Altman, born July 27, 1862, Ottawa, IL, d. Dec. 19, 1937, Napoleon, OH. 
Survived by one sister, a brother, and several nieces and nephews [none 
named]. Husband Samuel Altman died 9 years ago. 

Funeral services were held at the Boyer funeral, December 21, 1937. Rev. H. 
Tormohlen officiated. Interment in Forest Hill cemetery.

Abstracted obituary from an undated, loose clipping, one of many found in a 
Sheward family photo album. Alice (Sheward) Altman was the daughter of James 
and Sarah Ann (Maris) Sheward.
