                               MARGARET L. BARRETT
     Margaret L. Barrett, 80, of Dayton, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 1997, at the 
Miami Valley Hospital.
     She was born in Highland County on July 13, 1917, the daughter of John R. 
LUDWICK and Margaret (FROST) Ludwick.
     Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Glenn, 
Hershel, Deforest, and Harold Everett Ludwick, and one nephew.  She is 
survived by her husband, Harry Barrett, whom she married on July 26, 1947; one 
son, John Barrett of Dayton; one stepson and wife, Fred and Jan Barrett of 
Englewood, Fla.; one niece, Mildred Bradford of Hillsboro; four nephews, 
Norman Ludwick, Lloyd Ludwick and Kenneth Ludwick, all of Hillsboro, and 
Richard Ludwick of Orlando, Fla.; four stepgrandsons and several great-
grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Hope Miller-
Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  Burial will follow in the Hillsboro 
Cemetery.
     Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Tobias Funeral Home, 
Belmont Chapel 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, and on Wednesday from noon until 
time of service at 2 p.m. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in 
Hillsboro.
     Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. 363, 
Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
