RAINSBORO.
	Mrs. Robert Clark, aged almost 73 years died early Sunday morning at 
her home two miles west of town.  She had been a great sufferer several 
weeks.  She leaves an aged husband, eight children and several grandchildren.  
The funeral was preached on Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. McColum.  
Interment in cemetery at Dallas.


Additional Comments:

	The maiden name of Mrs. Robert Clark was Julia Ann Miller.  She was 
born Aug. 4, 1834 in Ohio and died March 31, 1907 in Highland County, Ohio.  
Family oral history says that she died of stomach cancer.  She was buried 
beside her husband in the town of Boston, in Highland County, Ohio, in the 
Methodist Cemetery, once known as the Dallas Cemetery, now known as the Boston 
Cemetery.  When I last visited her grave in 1976, I found Julia’s grave to be 
unmarked.  However, I found her husband’s grave, Robert Clark, to be marked 
with a U.S.A. flag and a military marker that reads:  

CLARK.  Robt.  Co.I.  149 Ohio N.G.I.  

        Robert was a Civil War veteran. 
	Julia and her husband lived at Rainsboro, Roxabell, Lattasville, Slate 
Mills, Anderson, and Chillicothe, Ohio, at various times during her life.  
They were married on 18 March 1855 in Ross County, Ohio.
	The Children of Robert Clark and Julia Miller were:
		i.	William Wessly Clark, born December 14, 1855 in Ross 
County, Ohio; died January 22, 1926 in Turtle Creek Township, Warren County, 
Ohio; married Mary Ann Sinclaire September 11, 1882 in Ross County, Ohio.
		ii.	James Clark, born November 23, 1857; married Elizabeth 
Dennewitz.
		iii.	Sarah Elizabeth Clark, born April 04, 1860; married 
William E. Eidenaur December 31, 1879.
		iv.	Mary Jane Clark, born August 31, 1862.
		v.	Rebecca Ann Clark, born December 24, 1864; married 
A.P. Hungerford August 20, 1882.
		vi.	Jesse Priscilla Clark, born October 10, 1869.
		vii.	Margret Ella Clark, born January 14, 1872; married (1) 
Charles McDonald; married (2) ? Losey.
		viii.	Myrtle Francis Clark, born June 24, 1874; died July 
18, 1916; married Linza Cozad May 20, 1890.
