HAZEL E. FROST.
     HAZEL E. FROST, 86, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, March 11, 1997, at the 
Oakland Nursing Center in Hillsboro.
     She was born July 6, 1910, in Fairview, the daughter of ARCHIBALD and 
PEARL (TAYLOR) HART.
     She was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ.
     She is survived by her husband, LEE L. FROST, whom she married on July 5, 
1936; two sons, RALPH FROST of Newark and ROGER FROST of Hillsboro; one 
daughter, JANET FRYE of Newtonsville; four sisters, FAYE DOTY of Florida, JUNE 
ELLISON of Fairborn, DOROTHY DAVISON of Mississippi, and JOY NEWKIRK of 
Wilmington; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, 
HAROLD HART, LOWELL HART, AND JAMES "BUD" HART; and two sisters, LILLIAN 
STACEY and NINA LOVARCO.
     Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, at 2 p.m., at the 
Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg with Bob Stevens officiating.  Burial 
will follow in the Barnes Cemetery.  Friends may call on Thursday from 5 - 7 
p.m. at the funeral home.
