HEAD. Harry Richard Head, 57, 133 Edgewood av, Greenfield, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday in Veterans Hospital, Dayton, after an illness of one year. He was an employe of the U. S. Shoe Corporation for 32 years and owned and operated the U. S. Shoe Cafeteria. A member of the First Baptist Church, he served in the U. S. Army in World War II. The son of Charlie F. and Nellie B. Wilson Head, he was born May 31, 1917 in Pike County. On Oct. 7, 1950, he married the former Eileen R. Wisecup, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Rex A. Head, Riverside, Calif., and William E. Head, Wilmington; and one daughter, Elaine head, at home; three brothers, Wilson P. Head, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Eli A. head, Greenfield Rt. 3; Charles F. Head, Springfield; and one sister, Mrs. Jane Peck, Upper Arlington. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Robert K. Blaine and Rev. Edward Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
