                              BILL MITCHELL.
                               1935 - 2001.
            William 'Bill' Mitchell, 66, of Miamisburg, formerly of Lynchburg, 
died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001 at his residence.
             He was born June 7, 1935 in Kentucky, the son of the late Thomas 
Mitchell and Ruby Mitchell, of Wilmington.
             He recently retired from Bush Leasing Inc.  He was an avid 
supporter of the National Rifle Association and was a member of the Dalton 
Lodge F. & A.M. # 578.
             He is survived by his wife Anne Mitchell, whom he married Jan. 
14, 1989; son and daughter-in-law, William R. (Laurie) Mitchell, of Batavia; 
daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara A. (David) Blacker, of Blanchester, 
Patricia K. (Mike) Mitchell McCown, of Maineville;  brothers and sister-in-
law, Ronnie Mitchell, David Mitchell, and Larry (Karen) Mitchell;  
stepchildren, John Hansen, Joe Hansen, Bob Hansen, David Hansen, Bill Hansen, 
Paul Hansen, Jim Hansen and Anne Marie Ducceschi; 31 grandchildren and two 
great grandchildren.
           Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 
22, 2001 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Wilmington with Father Chuck 
Mentrup celebrant.  Burial will be in the Clinton Memory Gardens in Wilmington.
           Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Reynolds-Smith 
Funeral Home in Wilmington with Masonic services starting at 7:30 p.m.
           Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Highland County, 
61 E. Main St., Wilmington, Ohio 45177 or Highland District Hospital Oncology 
Unit, 1275 N. High St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
