			JOE HIESTAND
	JOE HIESTAND, 97, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004 at the 
Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro.
	He was born November 28, 1906, in Hillsboro, the son of HARRY and ELLA 
(GABRIEL) HIESTAND.
	He is survived by his wife, MARY (CUSTER) HIESTAND of Hillsboro.
	Also surviving are a son, ED HIESTAND, two daughters, MARILYN HIESTAND 
and LINDA HIESTAND DENNIS;  grandchildren JOE HIESTAND, JANIS HALTEMAN, SUSAN 
DENNIS, JASON DENNIS and REBECCA SEXTON; and great-grandchildren GREER and 
LAUREL DENNIS.
	A more complete obituary will be in the 7 Oct. 2004 "Times-Gazette".
	Funeral arrangements by Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
