White, 75, of 1025 McClain Ave., Greenfield, died at 2:06 p.m. Tuesday in the Greenfield Hospital after a lingering illness. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Murray Funeral Home, Greenfield. Danny Dodds, minister, and the Rev. Robert K. Blaine will officiate and burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where the Greenfield Eagles Lodge, of which he was a member, will conduct a service at 7:30. Born March 3, 1903, in Adams County, he was the son of Emil and Roxie Thompson White. Surviving are his wife, the former Rose Benson whom he married Sept. 12, 1974; five stepchildren, Herman, Charles and Herbert Max Clouser, Mrs. George (Catherine) Whaley and Mrs. Robert (Iva) Giffin, all of Greenfield; a niece, Mrs. William (Merial) Fraley, Route 1, Bainbridge, who was reared by Mr. And Mrs. White; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers, James, Sandusky, William, McDermott, and Floyd, Newport, Ky.; and two sisters, Mrs. Fay Stanley, Cincinnati, and Mrs. William (Myrtle) Campbell, Portsmouth.
