Lilian C. Pommert, 83, of 1119 Jefferson st, Greenfield, died 9 a.m. Sept. 12 at Court House Manor in Washington C.H. of a lingering illness. She was born Aug. 15, 1896, in Highland County, the daughter of James Adam and Amanda D. Taylor Armentrout. Mrs. Pommert was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Her first husband, John Ellsworth Iseman, died in January 1924, and her second husband, George Harrison Pommert, died in February 1943. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Penn and Mrs. William (Thelma) Coffey, both of Greenfield; three sons, George H. Pommert of Washington C.H., John David Pommert of Joplin, Mo. and Charles Jacob Pommert of Ft. Lee, Va.; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One brother and three sisters preceded her in death. Service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Murray's Funeral Home, Greenfield, with Rev. Clarence Dinnen officiating and burial in Greenfield Cemetery.
