She was born May 24, 1919 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late G.B. and Cora M. (Crusie) Curry. She retired from the U.S. Shoe Corp. in Greenfield, was a graduate of McClain High School and was a member of the Fishin’ Club and Sewing Club of Greenfield. She is survived by her husband, James R. “Red” Wilson, whom she married Jan. 26, 1938; two sons, Richard (Gloria) Wilson, Robert (Chris) Wilson, both of Greenfield; two foster sons, Billy (Rosalee) Appleman of South Salem, Frank Lott of Lucasville; a number of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a foster son, Cecil Buckner, and by two brothers. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2006 at the Anderson- Strueve Funeral Home in Greenfield, with the Rev. Robert K. Blaine officiating. Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery.
