Murphy WNW of intersection of Maysville-Greendale Rd. and State Route 595, Hilltop, adjacent to abandoned oil well, S- central Sec 5, Green Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio. In 1983 several stones were badly damaged by bulldozing related to an adjacent oil well pad. In 2008 all of the stones could be found but were much less legible, and a new granite marker for Grandison & Ann Combs Norman had been erected.
