C. for 50 cents Know all men by these presents, that I, William Perrine of the county f Hocking in the State of Ohio in consideration of the sum of four hundred & fifty dollars, in hand paid and secured to be paid, by Richard S. Calvert of the county & state aforesaid have bargained and sold, and do herby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Richard S. Calvert, his heirs and assigns, forever, the following real estate situate in the county of Hocking in the State of Ohio and in the township of Perry and described as follows: being the North East quarter of the North East quarter, and the North West quarter of the North East quarter of Section number thirty six (36) of township twelve (12) of Range miniature(?) 19 in the district of lands subject to sale at Chillicothe Ohio each containing forty acres, making in all eighty acres. To have and to hold said premises with the appurtenances, unto the said Richard S. Calvert, his heirs and assigns, forever; and the said William Perrine for himself and heirs, doth hereby covenant with said Richard S Calvert and his heirs and assigns, that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid - that the premises are free and clear from all incumberance, whatever, and that he will forever warrant and defend the same, with the appurtenances, unto the said Richard S. Calvert, his heirs and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons. In testimony whereof, the said William Perrine has hereunto set his hand and seal this 6 day of October A.
