Washington Sept 18,1878
Mustered into service as a private on the 24th day of September 1864, at 
Circleville, Ohio, in 32 regimental of Ohio volunteers, to serve one year. On 
the muster roll of Company "H", of the regiment, for the months of March and 
April 1865
He was mustered on individual muster roll May 29, 1865 near Washington D.C.

Additional Comments:
Died August1,1875 from the final stages of Consumption.
Death was recorded in the Family bible,by his brother Joseph Shrader,in the 
German Language
He was laid to rest in St. John's Old Catholic Cemetery, Logan, Ohio
