Long-time resident of Holmes Co, living with daughter and son-in-law at time of 
death. Buried in Holmes Co. His father James McMillen was born 17 Dec 1798 in 
Upper Turkeyfoot Twn, Somerset Co., PA., died 28 Sept 1870 in Nashville, Holmes 
Co., OH. In his later years James McMillen lived with his son John McMillen, 
Immer's half-brother [b. 1825, OH; d. 11 Oct 1913, Holmes Co., OH] who was the 
son of James McMillen's first wife, Margaret Pinkerton [daughter of Matthew 
Pinkerton, see below]. Margaret died before 1831, possibly in Knox Co., OH. The 
mother of Immer McMillen remains unknown. She died between 1840-1850 in Brown 
Township, Knox Co., OH.
