Sandusky Clarion June 11, 1823
FIFTY CENTS REWARD
RAN away from the subscriber, on the 12th day of April 1823, an inden-er 
apprentice boy to the blacksmith trade, by the name of Silas Bower, 17 years 
of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, generally saucy, and a little addicted to bad 
habits.  Whoever will apprehend the said Silas Bower, of the township of 
Greenfield, in Huron county, and return him to his master in Monroe village, 
shall be entitled to the above reward but no charges.  I do hereafter forbid 
all persons harboring or trusting him any way, directly or indirectly, from 
this date, as I will prosecute to the extent of the law.
