                           LILLIE V. GARNER
   NORTH FAIRFIELD-Services for Mrs. Lillie Violet Garner, 71, widow of the
late Frank Garner who died yesterday afternoon at the home of her son
Archie, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist Church, with
the Rev. Edmund Keller, officiating.
   Surviving besides Archie, are three other sons, Lester, Cecil, also of
North Fairfield; Franklin of Willard; one step-son, George of Greenwich;
one daughter, Mrs. Lela Ruggles, North Fairfield, and one step-daughter,
Mrs. Ivon Ruff, of Plymouth; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
   Friends will be received at the Kaiser Home for Funerals until 1 p.m.
Wednesday.
   Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.
