The Daily Reflector, Norwalk, Ohio Friday, January 13, 1899
Mrs. Celina Lynn, of Chicago 
Junction, while on a visit at her 
son-in-law’s, Wm. Phillips, was 
taken sick with pneumonia but her 
case not being considered danger-
ous, no doctor was called until 
Sunday. Before the doctor arriv-
ed she passed away, aged 69 years. 
Her husband was a member of the 
Third Ohio Cavalry and died while 
in the service in 1864.

Additional Comments:
[Her husband Melvin S. Lynn did serve in the 3rd Ohio Cavalry until 1864, when 
he was discharged. He died 13 September 1892 in Huron County. -JPJ]
