Stone, Counsel, September 20, 1850. "I Joseph Healy of Greenwich, Huron County and state of Ohio do make and publish my last will and testament in memorand form as follow. That is to say 1st all my just debts and funeral expenses to be pain out of my personal property not otherwis disposed of in this instrument and if then should not be sufficient thereof the balance to be made off from sixty three and one half acres being the south part of the farm on which I now live. Secondly I direct my executor to divide my wearing apparell equally between my two sons Edward and Smith Healy. I give to my son Smith Healy my large Bible that contains my family record and my two Account Books and my Pocket Book also my walking staff. Also I give my sons Edward, Abraham and Jacob Healy all of my private Books except as specified above. I give to my GrandDaughter Mary E Healy one feather bed being the Black and White Striped tick homemade and under bed one boulster two pillows with cases two good sheets two bed spreads the best cotton and wool coverlet these articles marked No 2. I also give a high post Bedsted one Britainna Tea Pot and a large Pewter Platter and (unclear) to be delivered to her when she arrives at the age of twenty one or when she is married. If it should be the case that she doe not live to be married or arrive at the age of twenty one then I give this legacy to Huldah Healy, daughter of Smith Healy this legacy to be delivered to Smith Healy and his wife to keep in trust to be delivered according to my will and also I give to Mary E Healy twenty acres of land to be set off to her on the south side of the (?) acres that I deeded to Smith Healy four acre of this legacy to be wood land and sixteen to be cleared land..the wood land to be (her) nearest to the lands now owned by EZEKIEL GRIFFIN together with a free passage to and from her wood land...and in case she does not live to the age of twenty one or get married then this legacy to go to Huldah Healy as specified above. I give to Effa Healy my wife the use of the residue of my farm during her natural life which is sixty three and half acres off of the south part of my farm together with all privileges thereunto belonging if it shouldd be necessary to sell any of the 631/2 acres for the payment of my debts it is to be taken off the north side adjoining the legacy mentioned above. Also I give her the said Effa Healy my kitchen stove and furniture belonging to the same also one Bed and bedding one beauro one Bedsted and five chairs the same which she had when she came to live with me also all dished and kitchen furniture belonging to me not otherwise disposed of...also I give to Effa Healy one feather bed and underbed and bolster two pillows with cases two pairs of sheets one of cotton one of wool two quilted coverlets one cotton and wool coverlet all marked No 1. Also I give to Smith Healy at the decease of Effa Healy my wife sixty three and half acres which she has use of with all implements on his paying to my three grandchildren Edwin Healy, David Healy and Mary Healy, children of Edward Healy, the sum of three hundred dollars after the decease of my wife Effa Healy, one hundred dollars to each of them. Also I further give Mary E Healy my Beauro subject to the same proviso as mentioned in the foregoing If there should be a balance left of my personal property after paying my debts funeral expenses and costs of Administration I give it to Effa Healy for her use and benefit. I hereby appoint RUFUS SHELDON and EZEKIEL GRIFFIN my executors to this my last will and testament in witness thereof I have set my hand and seal this 4th Day of the 9th month of 1847 witnesses HENRY GRIFFIN and HIRAM TOWNSEND
