Ave, Apartment 507, died Monday afternoon in Gill Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health all summer. Mrs. Henry was well-known in the Steubenville area for a doll-dressing project which she carried out each year at Christmas. She had cleaned and dressed approximately 400 dolls each Christmas for many years to be given away to underpriveleged children. Mrs. Henry was the widow of Lawrence Henry who died in 1957. She was a member of the First Christian Church, the Sunset Club, Salvation Army Auxiallary and the Women's Circle of the church. She leaves five daughters; Mrs. Virginia Massarelli of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Mrs. Roy (Grace) Hodkinson of Newark, Ohio, Mrs. Samuel (Mary) DeLavo of Wintersville, Mrs. William (Pat) Borden of Fort Myers, Fla., and Mrs. Vince (Jean) Mannario of Mingo Junction; four sons, Lawrence Henry of Mansfield, Ohio, George Henry of Bloomingdale, Fred Henry of Fayetteville, Tennessee and William Henry of Newark, Ohio; a brother R. W. Harris of Steubenville; 29 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Cole Brothers Funeral Home from 7-9 tonight and from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Wednesday; services Thursday, 1 pm in the funeral home; Rev. Mr. george Crenshaw; Steubenville Union Cemetery; memorial services by Sunset Club Wednesday evening in the funeral home. ----- Submitted by Terri Menzel
