dollars & forty three cents, Direct tax for the current year.

April 7th, 1803. Received of Joseph Sproat one dollar and twenty five cents 
for direct tax.                 Benj. Wells
Received first day of Jany 1816 from Joseph Sproat, the sum of thirteen 
dollars fifteen cents for the direct tax of 1815, upon the property of Said 
Sproat in the County of Fayette, in the 15th collection Dist in the State of 
Pennsylvania.
