Presbyterian banner. (Pittsburgh, Pa.) 1860-1898: December 15, 1860
Died, on the 8th of November, at the residence her son-in-law, Mr. U. Gregg, near
Fredericktown, Knox County, Ohio, Mrs. Agnes Calhoun, in the 84th year of her age.
Her disease was a cancerous sore on her face, of long continuance, and at times very
painful. She was married twice. Her first marriage was with Mr. James Miller, A. D.
1777. He died April 1st, 1826. Some years afterwards, she was united in married to
Mr. Calhoun, of Beaver County, Pa. He also died about eighteen months afterwards,
leaving her to walk alone down the hill of life… She was received into the
fellowship of the Presbyterian church of Lower Chanceford, York County, Pa., and was
a member of the Presbyterian church about sixty-five years…
