FUNERAL OF D. BARTHOLOMEW

  The funeral of Daniel Bartholomew was held Wednesday at the home of 
his daughter, Mrs. Hawkins, on the North Ridge just beyond the Perry-
Madison line. The attendance was very large, the house being filled 
with relatives, there being a great number living in that vicinity. The 
services were conducted by Rev. J. D. Kahi pastor of the Methodist 
Church of Perry. The music was furnished by two ladies from Perry.

  Interment will be made in the beautiful cemetery at Perry. Mr. 
Bartholomew has always been a resident of Perry and Madison and was 
well known for his uprightness and had the respect of the entire 
community.
