Rev. Phillips spoke comforting words to the sorrowing friends. Mrs. Earl Hamblin and Mrs. Harry Jones sang beautiful selections, "Our Sweetly Solemn Thought" and "Abide With Me." and Mrs. Hamblin sang as a solo, "When I Go Home." Many beautiful floral pieces were mute tributes of sympathy. Mrs. Peterson brothers, Alfred, Bert and Robert Childs and Sterling Hull acted as bearers and burial was made in Perry Cemetery.
