                           Esta Johnson Unrue         
  Mrs. Esta Johnson Unrue, 73, of Rt.1, Kitts Hill, died at 8 am Saturday 
Dece,ber 12,1981 in her residence, after an extended illness
  She was born December 8, 1908 in Boyd County, Kentucky, a daughter of the 
late William and Amelia Vance Johnson.
  Survivors include her step-mother, Liza Ann Johnson of Westwood, Ky.;  three 
daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Lavetta Ball of Rt. 1, Ironton, Ohio,  Mrs Bonnie 
Nichols of Rt.1, Kitts Hill, Ohio  and Mrs. Gloria Nichols of Greenup, 
Kentucky; and one son, Gary Unrue of Greenup, Kentucky.
  Additionsl survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Jessie Sexton of Hollywood, 
California, Mrs. Rosa Barber of Crown Hill, West Virginia, Mrs. Frances 
Pennington of Idaho, Mrs. Jean Withrow and Mrs. Katharine Bostic, both of 
Ashland, Kentucky; four brothers, Edward Johnson of Rush, Kentucky, Ambrose 
Johnson of Ashland, Kentucky, Billy Johnson of Ironton, Ohio and Jack Johnson 
of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; 23 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Riggs Funeral 
Home by the Rev. Homer Adkins.  Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery, Westwood. 
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 6o 9 p.m.  Monday and after 10 a.m. 
Tuesday.
