Dillon, his wife Rachel Reed Dillon and Vincent's father, Vincent Dillon Sr and his wife, Hannah Jackson Dillon, located at the far end of the cemetery. The cemetery is located in section 13 of Windsor Twp., Lawrence Co., Ohio and was originally a family cemetery on the land of Vincent Dillon Sr who purchased this land in the late 1840s. Quite probably Vincent's father, John Dillon, (c1785-c1848) was the first burial following his death c1848. His gravesite may be represented by one of the many unmarked stones. Of the 40 or so known burials, more than half are connected to Vincent's extended family. Upon Vincent Dillon Sr's death in 1892, the cemetery was deeded to the Methodist Episcopalian Church in Scottown. Vincent had been a co-founder of that church. Only several burials are known to have taken place in this cemetery in the past 60 years, though descendants of family here buried have reported returning for Memorial Day commemorations during 1930s and 1940s.
