Sizelove, Sr. sizelove@johnstown.net August 9, 2000 *********************************************************************** Lake Cemetery, Liberty Township, Licking County, Ohio I wish to present the transcriptions of the ancestoral loved ones interred at Lake Cemetery. It lies on the northern edge, Section 5 of Liberty Township, next to Bennington Twp., Licking Co., Ohio. The earliest burial that I have knowledge of here, is that of Belinda Overturf, who died August 30, 1829 . This was a privately owned family Cemetery until about 19__. It is nicely mowed and well cared for by Liberty Township Trustees and descendants of the loved ones buried there. It's situated on a piece of land adjacent to county road (13)Crouse Willison Road, just north of township road (TR53) Harmony Church Road. The cemetery is slightly elevated near the road, sloping downward at the back. Although I have made every effort to correctly read the inscriptions, I make no warranty of being 100% correct. I am responsible for all the readings contained with in this report, with the exception of a few bits of data marked with a * symbol. I have included information from Mr. Blynn Evans report of the early 1970's, only where this information no longer exist and would other wise be lost. All data outside of brackets [ ] being information taken directly from the memorials. Information within brackets without * symbol being additional information of my personal knowledge, research, and/or observations. Will be pleased to change or revise the data contained here, when additional verifiable information improves upon what I have set forward. Have included names of sources, when known for all information supplied to me by the kindness of others with the symbol (*) or (**). Transcriptions & photo documentation completed, 7 August, 2000, revised 9 August, 2000. Robert M.
