He was born in Maryland in 1748, entered the War of the Revolution at its commencement and remained in the army until its close. He was in the battle Germantown, frequently saw George Washington, and on one occasion, as a sentinel, guarded his tent. Mr. Albaugh removed to Ohio in 1847.
